Responsibilities
- Develop clear and results-driven category plans in line with key criteria such as cost, compliance with FSQA standards, product development and commercial needs
- Take responsibility for our supplier management, as well as negotiating terms, conditions and pricing
- Implement cost-saving strategies to achieve our ambitious COGS targets
- Manage supply chain disruptions, identify new opportunities, track price fluctuations and create contingency plans
- Lead the development of sustainable sourcing strategy and innovation, aligning CSR requirements, conducting due diligence & assessing social/environmental risks
Job requirements
- Relevant experience (4+ years) in the FMCG industry with a focus on procurement, supply chain or similar
- Strong Negotiation and Category management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- You’re used to working in a high-pressure, fast-paced, and constantly changing environments
- Hands-on mentality along with a structured approach and a can-do attitude
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and G-Suite (Google Sheets, Excel) complemented with exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
- An ownership mindset and ability to work independently, with minimal supervision
- Fluent in English; German and any other EU language are a plus
- Traveling: Willingness to travel to suppliers, attend trade shows etc. (up to 30% of working time)
