Mykor develops and scales next generation building insulation for planet and human health with advanced biotechnologies. Our products offer 100% bio-based and carbon sequestering alternatives to conventional insulation with better performance and at comparative price points. We engineer our products for construction applications using industrial residues, mycelium biotechnology and green chemistry. Mykor’s products respond to the new requirements for insulation materials of today that 92% of insulation on the market does not address: fire safety, circularity and low embodied carbon.

We are looking for a Project Manager:
We are seeking a Project Manager to oversee project execution, grant acquisition, and financial management. This role involves identifying funding opportunities, preparing grant proposals, managing budgets with the financial department, and ensuring compliance with funding requirements while driving successful project outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Research and identify relevant grant opportunities from public and private funding sources.
- Develop and submit compelling grant proposals, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Manage project budgets, track expenditures, and ensure compliance with funding requirements.
- Oversee project planning, execution, and reporting to meet milestones and deliverables.
- Monitor grant timelines, prepare progress reports, and maintain accurate financial records.
- Collaborate with internal teams, funders, and stakeholders to optimize resource utilization.
- Ensure adherence to grant agreements, legal regulations, and reporting guidelines.
- Provide strategic insights on funding trends and project sustainability.
Requirements:
- Master’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field.
- Proven experience in grant writing, project management, and financial oversight.
- Strong knowledge of funding agencies, grant compliance, and reporting requirements.- - PT2030; Horizon; Innovate UK.
- Excellent writing, communication, and organizational skills in English and Portuguese.
- Ability and experience to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively related to Innovation and R&D development.
- Proficiency in grant management software and project tracking tools.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.

- Salary is negotiable and dependant on experience, range between €1,500 to €2,000 depending on experience.
